Well done Catalyst, there certainly needs to be more programs like you, that educate the public. As unrealistic the Amish may seem, at the very least they are committed to improving the world around them. For the rest of us, please lets waste less, and encourage reusable packaging like glass milk bottles from Companies like Elgaar Milk. I hope the time has come to understand we can make a difference and stop pursuing perfectly shaped fruit and vegetables or letting supermarkets dictate our buying via down down or cheap cheap, as the cost is our health. Please Mum and Dads, encouraging our kids to stay away from cosmetics and help them understand the amount of rubbish we buy is only filling the pockets of the so called recyclers and killing the environment. My message! Reuse, stop recycling, natural vegetation with all the its wonderful imperfections and seasonally as nature intended. I look forward to the Catalyst team shine a light on Monsanto and the like to learn a little more on harmful products and the effects of Genetically modified plants and animals.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get up-close with the fan favorite, “Yellow,” a life-size sculpture of a man ripping his chest open with thousands of yellow LEGO bricks cascading from the cavity.

Dr. Aronowitz, a scholar of the history of 20th-century disease, epidemiology and population health, is the author of three books and the recipient of many awards and honors, including election to the National Academy of Medicine and, most recently, a Guggenheim fellowship. Dr. Aronowitz has also made significant contributions to health policy and has a strong record of public outreach, including serving on the advisory boards of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program and the Bates Center for History of Nursing, as well as the executive board of the Leonard Davis Institute. He has played important leadership roles at Penn, which have included serving as department chair near-continuously since 2012 and helping to build the popular Health and Societies undergraduate major, as well as starting and co-directing the Penn site of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health and Society Scholars Program.
