Given these volatile oil and gas macro factors, we expect our 2019 revenue to be up about 2% at the midpoint, with a range of $4.07 billion to $4.47 billion.

And then in downstream, chemical and refining, it’s largely an MRO year for us. Without the big Shell polymer project, you’re really seeing about 90%, 95% of our downstream this year will be based on MRO contracts. So we want some nice contracts. Their spending will be up slightly on that, so we expect slight growth in downstream as a whole, but it won’t come from large project. It’ll come from smaller cap projects, and we’re forecasting a slightly up turnaround season for our downstream business.

Nashville Fabrication fabricates 15 to 20 miles of handrail sets annually. Each handrail set comprises multiple levels of tube and posts—equally more than 50 miles of tube per year. Most of the handrail sets are erected in large distribution centers around the 48 contiguous states. The company also fabricates the stairs and erected the stairs and handrails in at least 25 of them.

I think you would expect to be in that range, maybe towards the higher end. But certainly, we’re very close to that range.

Yet because demand was easily met by land-based resources it took almost 100 years before the minerals started to receive serious attention. By the 1970s, several consortiums, including major mining companies such as Inco and Lockheed Martin, explored for mining sites in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone in the eastern Pacific, a 4.5m sq km area of the sea that is half as wide as the US mainland. The Lockheed-led consortium successfully tested mining for manganese using a seabed vehicle connected to a ship via a 5,000m steel pipe. But a lack of international regulations hampered these early efforts.
