The focus, tonnes/bushels, litres/weight gains,etc,massive production/productivity increases exponentially, in the absence of correctly accredited maintenance, of wholesome balanced nutrition credentials.Results, critical deficiencies, of essential mineral, vitamin, true protein balanced nutrition,= malnutrition on a massive scale,( the bellies are full, but the minds are crying out for the essential life forces eg’ perpetual hunger! True beautiful creative nature, mineral and sweetness are synonymous as one, a complete unit of nutrition.Sugars/carbohydrates, are omnipresent/ubiquitous,shoveled down, like there is no tomorrow.-Rampant/unbridled obesity.feeds the ever expanding health/infrastructure/services and prisons,at a terrifying drain on our national G.N.P.unsustainable,(Ignorance is a terrible burden on such a scale!).Norman Bourlag’s,distortions of the main staple, wheat,back during the green revolution, his work, re hybridizing various varieties, increased total yields, ten fold, a staggering outcome,"they said", we can now feed the growing masses,& honored Norman with a Nobel prize. Recently, it was revealed,wheat products from these original strains,are "blessed", with two, very negative characteristics,#1 stimulates appetite, 2,opiate receptors engage addiction to wheat products/derivatives.Another challenge for weight watchers,me thinks!.I have copies reports in my files, of studies conducted on a large variety of vegetables, fruits and meat cuts, across the northern hemisphere, from 1941-1990,demonstrating significant decline of the main essential minerals required for health abundance.The same could be demonstrated here in Australia also,I continue to do refractive index/brix test analysis on several fresh vegetables,fruits and milk, almost without exception, results are in the poor-low range, indicative of chronic mineral, vitamin and true protein deficiencies. Like other outdoor skills, learning to properly hang a bear bag takes time and repetition. And because most backpackers don’t backpack often enough to get the requisite practice, most bear bags are hung really poorly. Like, they’re laughable and woefully inadequate.
