Lindy in the Buff 2019 By popular demand, Swing Buffalo is bringing back Lindy in the Buff, a Lindy Hop workshop weekend with the incredibly talented Caitlin Wellman from Toronto! The beginner/intermediate track is designed for dancers who are brand new to Lindy Hop or who have been dancing Lindy Hop for 6 months or less. This track will work on fundamentals along with fun moves and styling that will help you be able to say, “Yes! I am a Lindy Hopper!” The intermediate/advanced track is geared towards dancers who may have already been doing Lindy Hop for several years. You’re comfortable with more than just the basics and like to play around with new moves and even create your own. You’re looking for classes that are challenging, fun, and that will help take your Lindy Hop to the next level. The weekend includes 8 hours of class and a Saturday night dance with the Easy Street Big Band! There is so much in this workshop weekend that’s going to make you BuffaLove the Lindy Hop! Disturbingly there are so many parallels between the handling of chemicals by regulatory authorities and the handling of high frequency electromagnetic radiation (mobile phone towers, NBN towers, WiFi in schools and smart meters). Now you want poor Fescue to do your math for you. Alberta generates about 85,000 GWh each year (2017 number). A 2MW windmill (remember, it’s just a name) produces 6 GWh each year. That’s the ‘equivalent’ of what 800 homes would use (note, it does not feed 800 homes – another confusion / deception in the letter). So, to meet the 30 percent target, you would need about 4000 wind turbine units. We already have 1000. This ignores the great potential for solar to be part of meeting this target.
