Most of the oil industry jobs are operating equipment, while most of the jobs in the wind industry are restricted to the duration of construction. 2) She claims that the wind industry invests $3 billion per year in Alberta, but again, she was so exhausted from her research that she missed that the Alberta Oil and Gas income is about $1 trillion per year. This is three orders of magnitude larger and hence there is no comparison to the small local wind industry that needs subsidies to stand on its own feet. 3) She assumes that robots and automation will fall from the sky overnight, not realizing that it will take several years to achieve automation.
